Product Introduction

Products Description

Low Altitude Radar is a professional detection and early-warning system designed for low-flying, small radar cross-section (RCS) targets such as micro-UAVs, cruise missiles, and low-altitude aircraft. It provides reliable, real-time surveillance to address the growing challenges of low-altitude airspace security. The Low Altitude Radar series includes S-Band Small-Target Early Warning Radar and X-Band 2D Phased Array Low-Altitude Detection Radars (single-face and quad-face), optimized for different coverage and deployment scenarios.

Built in China and compliant with ISO, CE, FCC, and MIL-STD-810H, these systems integrate phased-array beam steering, adaptive clutter suppression, and multi-target tracking, ensuring stable performance in complex environments such as rain, fog, and urban areas.

Widely used in airport security, border surveillance, critical infrastructure protection, large-scale event security, and military low-altitude defense, Low Altitude Radar delivers 24/7 continuous early warning against low-altitude threats.

Features

High-precision small-target detection

S-band detects targets down to 0.01 m² RCS (≥90% detection probability).

X-band detects ultra-small targets as low as 0.001 m² RCS (≥95%), including micro-drones under 2 kg.

Multi-band coverage for diverse scenarios

S-band: Strong anti-jamming and all-weather performance for long-range border and maritime surveillance.

X-band: High resolution with fast electronic scanning (≤1 ms), ideal for airports and urban environments.

Quad-face X-band: 360° full coverage without mechanical rotation.

Advanced anti-clutter & anti-jamming processing

CFAR technology suppresses ground and sea clutter.

X-band models support STAP and adaptive beamforming to counter intentional interference.

High-capacity multi-target tracking  Tracks 100+ targets (S-band), 200+ (X-band single face), and 300+ (quad-face), suitable for drone swarm detection.

FAQ

Q: 1.What is the difference between S-Band and X-Band models?

A: S-Band models excel in long-range (≥25km) and all-weather detection, suitable for border/maritime surveillance; X-Band models offer higher resolution (0.001㎡ target detection) and fast electronic scanning, ideal for airports/urban areas.

Q: Can the X-Band quad-face model achieve full 360° coverage?

A: Yes, it uses four phased array panels arranged in a cube for electronic scanning, realizing 360° full azimuth coverage without mechanical rotation, eliminating surveillance blind spots.

Q: What is the minimum target RCS the radar can detect?

A: S-Band models detect ≥0.01㎡ targets, X-Band models ≥0.001㎡ (e.g., 2kg micro-UAVs), with detection probabilities ≥90% and ≥95% respectively.

Q: Does the radar work in heavy rain or fog?

A: All models meet IP65/IP66 protection levels and use anti-weather interference algorithms; S-Band models perform best in heavy rain (rain rate ≤50mm/h), X-Band models in light fog (visibility ≥200m).

Q: How many targets can the radar track simultaneously?

A: S-Band: ≥100 targets; X-Band single-face: ≥200 targets; X-Band quad-face: ≥300 targets, supporting UAV swarm detection.

Q: What anti-jamming capabilities do the models have?

A: S-Band: Frequency agility, notch filtering; X-Band: Adaptive beamforming, STAP (space-time adaptive processing), resisting noise and deception jamming.

Q: What power supply does the radar require?

A: All models support dual-power input: AC 220V (50/60Hz) or DC 24V, with backup power compatibility for uninterrupted operation.

Q: Can the radar integrate with other security systems?

A: Yes, it supports Ethernet integration with CCTV, alarm systems, and central security management platforms, enabling unified monitoring and command.

Q: What is the operating temperature range of the radar?

A: S-Band: -40℃ to +60℃; X-Band: -40℃ to +65℃, suitable for extreme climates (e.g., cold northern regions, hot deserts).
